Need for Speed Heat Free Download

Need for Speed Heat is a racing game set in Palm City, a fictitious version of Miami, Florida, and its surrounding environs. The in-game environment has a variety of terrain, including hilly places, thick woods, and wide fields. The game, unlike Need for Speed Payback, does not include a 24-hour day-night cycle, although players may flip between the two. During the day, users can compete in sanctioned race events, which award cash for new vehicles and improvements. During the night, participants can engage in illegal street racing for REP.

Racing at night will attract the notice of a renegade police task squad that patrols the streets of Palm City and is charged with shutting down street racing, which can lead to players risking their earned rep against the police or losing their money in handcuffs. Pursuits in Palm City can occur at any time of day or night, however, the PCPD's reaction varies based on the time of day. Players acquire rep through partaking in quests, with more available at night than during the day. Each heat level also represents the amount by which a player's gained rep for the current night session will be doubled if they successfully reach a safehouse or garage.
